By a CTSV (or CTS type R as the Kid told me they are called).
Granted, I shouldn't post this here, as this is for our triumphs, but I didn't know what to expect from that car, and boy did he show me....
We were at a light, me with my exhaust closed, and 300 pounds of mulch in the trunk and the Kid. CTSV takes off pretty hard, I take off usual, and he's beating me. So I floor it, and for a bit there I am getting quite ahead of him. Around 40 I think I have 1/2 to 1 car length on him? Then, I don't know if he downshifted or not (heard lots of shifting, but didn't realize the car has a 6 speed), but he came up on me like a bat out of hell, and whooped my ass. Even optimum conditions, light on weight, open exhaust, he would've still had me.
I gotta say, even losing, it's fun to see another car with that much power.
