To all,
There is a new store opening on May 28, 2005. It is called XLMotorsports. It primarily caters to Mark VII's, however, all Ford's are welcome. The owner is Colin. One of his LSC's can be seen on my website.
What XLMotorsports offers:
XLMotorsports has an upholstery shop that can fabricate any type replacement skin for our seats and at reasonable prices. This price will include the installation of the skins onto your seats. I have seen the work of this shop and can tell you that I am next in line to receive a kit prior to Carlisle. These skins are just like what SVPU offers, however, to save money, you can opt for the vinyl and/or pleather style replacement skins, but trust me once you see Colin's seats you will go with genuine leather. Plus they can embroider anything into the seats.
XLMotorsports already have 3 companies that come to the premise for tinting of windows, so you can leave your vehicle with someone you can trust. Other companies have already been setup to work in relationship with XLMotorsports, the autobody shop right next door and Excel Batteries, is just two of the many companies being setup for business.
Upon entering XLMotorsports you have a display case of rims, various stereo components, etc. All rims offered will perfectly fit the Mark series with little or no modifications to make. Since this is an official shop, there is a lift to perform either extensive work, such as engine/tranny/suspension/exhaust mods and/or repairs, or the simple work, such as tuneups, rotation of tires, etc).
Colin wishes to extend an invitation to you all for his grand opening on May 28th, 2005. XLMotorsports is located in Amityville, NY. The easiest route to the shop is to take Route 110 South to Montauk Hwy (to the very end). Make a left at the light onto Montauk Hwy, heading East. After two red lights, look for a sign, Experienced Auto Body, on your left, which happens to be across the street from a new Stop and Shop construction site. XLmotorsport is located in the back of Experienced Auto Body. There is a driveway to the left of the building. The sign for XLMotorsports can be seen while turning in.
I have requested to Eric that XLMotorsport have a forum on nelce.org as I believe it will bring more traffic to our site and make our site one of the main leaders in the Mark Series forums, as we will not only provide great feedback, advice, and recommendations, but a place to purchase mods and stock parts for our Marks. A one stop typing zone, if you will.
