I have no connection with the seller but wanted to pass this along.

This is the real deal Elliott 501 wiring harness tape used in the engine compartment. Impossible to get without buying by the case (about $500). Good to 125C/257F degrees. Be aware that this stuff is non-adhesive, which is correct. It's wrapped around wiring harnesses and then the end is wrapped in adhesive cloth tape (Polyken 268, which is also impossible to find in the right width and spec, but that's another story).

If you ever need to do work on wiring harnesses, this is the direct replacement. A hundred feet for $3.50 is a great deal.

I have a roll of this stuff, but it never gets used. It's only feasible to use it if you're going to re-wrap the whole harness, or at least end to end of the section you're working on (which usually means whole harness). Otherwise you end up with a bunch of regular sticky tape holding the start and end of the non-adhesive one. We all know that the cloth tape doesn't stand the heat in the engine bay too well.
