RE: heated seats

dunno about the heated seats... I do not have them.....
Key pad code is on the passenger side trunk hinge arm.
and if 93 thru 96 on the unit in the trunk behind the little door on the driver's side where you access the air ride cut off switch.
if a 97 or 98 the module is in the driver's door and have to remove door panel to see or replace it... code is on the outside of the module...
mine had been changed so the code on the trunk hinge did not work.
I bought a used one with a known code and replaced mine and now it works fine... old one may work as the code was different. but I replaced before i noticed...

RE: heated seats

The wires that heat the heated seats are very thin (think wires inside a toaster) and more than likely, someone has "knee-d" the seats and broken one. When one is split (i.e. broken) the rest will not work and the circuit is broken. In other words, someone has leaned into the car. putting their knee on the seat followed by all their weight, on that sole knee and that has broken a wire. Not a small job to fix. The light illuminates because the sweitch is still good.
