Help Get the Lincoln Concept Continental Built!

We need your help! Most of you have most likely seen the concept Lincoln Continental which has been on the auto show cicurit the last few years. We have heard from our sources that Ford Motor Company has scrapped any plans to put a version of this vehicle into production. We feel that a version of this vehicle is vital to the surivablity of the Lincoln namplate. Thanks for getting this crusade going. A lot of us here feel as you do.

This is what I submitted using the links you provided for us.

"Just hoping that Lincoln builds a good competitive car such as the Continental Concept that I saw at the Auto Show and in the enthusiast auto publications.

As it is now it seems that FoMoCo is only interested in building trucks and has decided to let the auto business go to the imports. Especially their Luxury car division. Lincoln will not survive with just the car/truck line it has now.

If Lincoln comes out with this Continental with the clam shell doors and the slide out trunk, it will not be ignored by the buying public.

Be bold, be confident and build it. Don't let GM be the only Luxury domestic auto company. PLEASE!!"

Very true. I remember when The Matrix first came out, a surprising number of people I talked to were "wowed" by the old Conti they had in that movie, thinking it was a one-off custom job. They didn't know those doors were part of an honest-to-God production car.
