How about this one?

RE: How about this one?

Damn...I hit 'return' instead of 'tab'.

Anyway, hows about when you see the spam in your mailbox. You HAVE to CLICK on the damned thing in order to delete it!!! So when you 'click' on it does that not 'open' it, exposing your PC to viruses, cookies and all that crap?

RE: How about this one?

By the way you said that, I'm assuming you use Outlook Express

If you use Outlook Express, you click on the email (single click) and it opens in the preview window. So yes, it opens it, but USUALLY* you have to open an attachment for anything bad to happen. There is a way to make it so that there is no preview window, so that to open an email, you have to double click it. It should be in one of the preferance things (nice accurate description, huh?)

*There are some virii that all you have to do is open the email, and not the attachment. Download the newest patches for Outlook Express. It doesn't make it bullet-proof, but it will definately help.

If you use the full version of Outlook... probably the same thing, but I don't know offhand.

If you use something else, I can't help ya there :)

RE: How about this one?

If you are using AOL 8.0 Plus, just highlight all the spam and hit the report spam button. It deletes it and gives AOL more ammunition in it's court cases against spammers. Previous versions of AOL make it a little harder to report spam but still worth it.

RE: How about this one?

Thanks guys. I'm using the earthlink mailbox but didn't have the spaminator initiated on both accounts. I'm still getting a few sliding thru but not nearly like before. What I can't figger out is how all those spam bastids know I have such a little dick. :)

Maybe you heard this one. "Short and thick does the trick. Tickles the outside, drives the inside crazy" :D
