Comming home from Bluewater bay area I saw an Emerald green almost hunter green 2nd gen LSC. Did they make them in that color? Ive never seen 2nd gens in that color. It was very sharp. Moslty all you see down here is the pearl white ones, tan and the brick red ones. Never seen a blue 2nd gen either come to think of it.

They are rare, I've only seen maybe two in that color. I'd have to look in the tech section for the proper paint code.

97 had evergreen which was a beautiful blueish green. There was also a beautiful deep blue in 97.

98 had medium charcoal green which was more of a dark green.

the 97 evergreen is basically the same paint they used on the early 90's eddie bauer bronco's it looks blue one angle, green another, and at certain angles it looks blue and green! i had a bronco that looked the same blueish green with a tan top.

Must of been a 97

Must of been a 97

Cause it was definately emerald green Evergreen. Looked very well taken care of and all shiny like it was a garage car. No lasagna windows or faded healights either. Pretty cool.

this is 97 evergreen has a blueish tint to it in the sun.

and this is medium charcoal green 98 only, this is more like a garden hose green, it has no blueish hint to it at all, just a real metallic green and in the sunlight it looks like it changes from green to a charcoal grayish look its pretty cool.

Here's my '97 "Evergreen" base. I guess I just got lucky. I wanted blue, green, or black, and this is what I found. I haven't regretted the decision. I just didn't know how rare it was until my first Carlisle!

these two photos show the "color change" quite well. It looks more blue, at night.

I almost bought one out here but didn't have the $3000 + he wanted, but maybe I should relook at it

you should. :)

although I always thought the photo of yours in your signature looked about as cool as could be..

Would this one qualify?

Would this one qualify?

When I worked in the internet department of a local Ford dealership in the metro Detroit area one of the sales guys' dad was selling his green 98 LSC that had just over 18,000 miles. This was in 2009. Asking price was $8500 firm. Some collector in the Chicago area bought it and trailered it back. If I had the $$$ I would have bought it. BUT I don't like the Lincoln LS wheels that were put on it.

+1 on lowering it, however the offset on the wheels aren't correct. They're tucked in too much. If this were my car I would do a hub swap and get Saleen Speedstars with bigger brakes and calipers up front. But the car was sold almost immediately via AutoTrader. The sales guy didn't want to wait for me to come up with $8500! So I ended getting mine from Jeremi!
