Looks like medical will be keeping me from Carlisle this year......Eyes are scheduled for that time and I ain't gonna mess up the schedule......

I hope to make All-Trucks in August tho.......then All-Fords in 2011!
 
Ok, I'm calling this one the only valid reason for not going to Carlisle that I've heard yet... :D

We'll miss you, but I think you should just send the Mrs with your car... :D

agreed. My father has some ongoing eye issues right now. with any luck, another surgery in the near future as well. Best of luck to you. We'll miss you at the show.

The people with actual colors (ivory, red, blue, green) will have to park on the other side lol

you're excused, I didn't make it last year due to medical reasons myself. Hopefully I'll see you at Truck in August, that's always a blast, you meet the classiest people there...

You know the rules... excused absences require a doctors excuse - be sure to ask for one, you'll need it for 2011. ;)

Can't you explain the importance of Carlisle to your doctor, and ask him to see you a week earlier?

Medical issues, bah! I schedule everything around Carlisle (remember the hysterectomy year?)

Anyway, best of luck to you on the eyes. Hoping it all goes well.
 
As I went to All-Fords last year (and skipped All-Trucks), I decided to go to Trucks this year...it was an either or thing. And as Penny wouldn't follow me up driving the Mark while I drove the truck/trailer combo it was an easy choice. Next year I will get someone else to drive the car up. I want to take my house with me!
