Let it snow!

I'm ready!:)

I've got the snow tires and the snowflake wheels on the black Mark. I also put new wipers and a fresh coat of Rain X on the windshield. That stuff works great in the winter.

I wiped down the door seals with silicone to help keep them from freezing closed (conditions will be right for this tomorrow).

Earlier this year, I installed an antenna without a motor because those things always freeze up in the winter anyway. I just leave it up and let it freeze.:D

The green Mark is in the garage, and the CE is in my new canopy. They are both winterized as much as I winterize them (cleaned up and disconnected batteries).:D

I move them around a bit, every couple of months, when it's dry out.

Here's a couple pics, we've got much more snow since the the black Mark pic:

VeeDub has been pulling double duty around here lately ... Brad took it to work again tonight. We're up for 7-14 (or more) from now to 1am Tuesday.

Darn, Bill, I would've never thought one of your Mark's would be in the garage. What did you do to make room?

Yes, it seems winter has started earlier this year.

Yeah, for the last 2 years I've been storing the MG at my neice's house and keeping the CE in the garage.

This year I bought the canopy.:)

The wet snow we got Sunday, froze Monday morning, at about 10 degrees.

The door didn't freeze closed thanks to the silicone spray. Too bad I didn't spray the inside of the door latch, because it froze open.:D

It wouldn't latch for the first 3 miles till I got to my gas station stop, I had to hold it closed on the one right turn on the way.:)

When the car warmed up a bit, it latched.

I figured if it didn't latch by then, I'd take it home and hit it with the blow dryer, or drive a clean car.

It ran great since then, the front airsprings are leaking a bit, but I pump it up and turn off the switch, and it's good for a few hours. They've been ordered.

It took me 2.5 hours to drive to work on the ice, normally it's 1 hour.:(

Poor black 94 it looks sad ..:frown:

It's not sad at all Steve. That car is running great.

I just treated it to a new power steering hose, rack, tie rod ends, and front airsprings. It drives like a new car, and it still gets the best gas mileage of the three.:)

It was sad this summer, when it wasn't being driven.:)
