Love it when a plan comes together

I used that tire/wheel calculator when figuring if the wheels would fit, here's what I got:

"Package will stick out 19 mm (0.7'') farther. Make sure that you have enough room under the fender. If not, consider narrower tires or higher offset.
Wheelwells Will fill out the wheelwell by extra 32 mm. Make sure that you have enough room under the fender. If not, consider lower profiles or smaller rims. "

How much would the 40mm stick out, compared to your 50mm wheel? I can't imagine the difference being that much?

Serge 17x9 wheels with a 36mm offset should fit just fine if you got them in the mark VIII bolt pattern, and they will stick out a tiny bit less than those.

Right, on my '98 I have 18x9's with a 36mm offset and they stick out .5mm compared to the .7 these do. I need lower profile tires for the front on this car though. If I switch to a 45 series tire I'll only be sticking out .6".

10mm more. 25mm=1 inch, so pretty close to a 1/2" more. You be the judge. I only ended up doing this cause I had the spacers laying around and got these wheel/tires for real cheap.

Beautiful! Those wheels are very clean looking.

It looks much better outside.:)

I like the Mark VIII mud flaps. Mine on my green Mark just have a Lincoln star on them.

I'd like to find a set like yours. They really protect the fender and rockers too.

I have debated taking them off cause I really dont like the way mud flaps look but after seeing how bad the water splashes up the sides on my '98 after it rains or even if I just dress the tires with Armor All, I decided to leave them on. They were on the car when I bought it a few months ago.
