Went to the track, only got 2 runs in but got a new best: 14.38 at 97.6mph with a 2.26 60 foot. I still feel the car has more in it than that but for now i'm happy.

RE: low 14's

SCT chip, stock LSC exhaust with 2 cutouts and Ultraflow mufflers, Mac crank pulley, UPR bigmouth conical, 180 degree thermostat, walbro 255lph, msd wires and screamin demon coilpacks and gutted trunk. Stock gears, tranny, suspension and open diff on Yokohama ES 100 street tires. Also I should note that I lost some top end horsepower with the chip so I don't trap as high anymore. ::roll::

Congrats on the time that's awesome!

But I have to ask... were you spinning on that pass?

Only reason I ask is because, that's a great ET with a not so great 60ft... If you could get a 2.1something 60ft that ET would be a WAY LOW 14!!

RE: low 14's

The tires weren't spinning too much on that run but I was at half throttle off the line. A 2.2 is the best I can do with my current setup, I have never been able to get a 2.1.

Ahh, ok... now the 60ft makes more sense.

I'm guessing you're running Street Tires... maybe it's time for a pair of slicks of some sort?
