Mark Door Hinges on a Cougar?

I need to replace the drivers side door hinges on my 1996 Mercury Cougar and I've noticed the Marks don't tend to suffer from the sagging doors that the Cougars and Thunderbirds did. It wouldn't happen to be a direct swap from maybe a 1996 Mark would it?

I'm not sure, but it wouldn't suprise me if they were the same.

The FN10s do suffer the same door maladies as the MN12s.

Look here and here.

I recall a thread on here where someone was talking about the hinges on the Mark typically being better then on the MN-12 cars. So here's the question then, are they any better then what was on the Cougar, even though no perfect? If you guys think they were just as good, or know of some better aftermarket part I'll just go that route.

I think it's already past that point, the pins are wearing into the metal on the hinges. I should of replaced the pins and bushings a long time ago.

According to the instructions....

If the inner hinge holes are worn larger than .470" it is time to get another hinge.

Regardless, the repair kit for the MN12 and FN10 are the same.
