mass air or speed density? shocks?

Is the 5.0 in the 1990 TC a speed density or mass air flow setup? If mass air, where is the MAF meeter located? The air box doesn't seem to have a MAF meter attached to the airbox like my Mark VIII does. Any help greatly appreciated.

Oh, while I am here, what shocks do you guys recommend on a TC if one wants to have a bit firmer ride? My car floats a bit much under braking and over dips and I know it needs shocks but want to know if there is something that works better than stock in firming up the ride some.

Thanks,
m

RE: mass air or speed density? shocks?

I wouldn't know for certain, but I do not believe Mass Air was viable in 1990, so I would guess it is speed density. Besides, the MAF can only be between the air filter and throttle body, it can't be hidden that well.
