miss at high RPMs

A couple of weeks ago I noticed the Mark cutting out above 5 grand. I have since changed the plugs, wires, fuel filter, and cleaned the maf. It is still cutting out. Later this week I will be putting in a new fuel pump and adjustable fuel pressure reg, hopefully that will take care of it but if not where should I look? I appreciate any help you can throw my way. Thanks

RE: miss at high RPMs

What year Mark do you have?

First thing I'd do is pull the codes (even if you don't have a check engine light). On OBDII-equipped cars, this'll catch pretty much anything that's wrong.

RE: miss at high RPMs

No not yet. I ordered a BBK adj. regulator a few days ago along with a new pump. When they get here I will put them in, set my pressure, and hope for the best. I guess I will just have to stay out of the throttle for a couple more days. I hope that will take care of the problem (fingers crossed).
