Well after waiting what seemed like forever, it was finally nice enough out for me to do a real clean up of the paint on my car.

1st I hand washed it with some Meguiar's NXT car wash,

2nd I clay bared the complete car, and man did it need it!

Then I used some Meguiar's 83 that is a paint cleaner/polish with a dual orbital buffer.

Finally I put on 3 coats of NXT wax.

Beautiful Mark VIII! I love that color.

The first and only time I ever saw one that color was when I looked at one for sale. The paint looked oxidized but, I knew it would look great when cleaned up.

You have proved me right.:big-grin:

Just about a month ago or so I actually found another one, exact same color and interior but had less miles down in NJ, the thing went for $900. I bought mine for $800!

Matt, that thing looks really cool! I don't think I've seen that color either, I thought it was silver in the first picture, haha. Glad you finally posted some pictures :)

Sigs...........I like this angle the best!(I removed that ugly extension cord, haha)(These will need to be downsized just a tad)

Here are some others........

Didn't like these two because of the difference in tone from the quarter panel to the bumper.

Thanks J, but they look that way cause this paint has a gold hue to it in sunlight, sort of like the Mystic Chrome color that is on some Cobra's. In some light it looks blue, in others green and in some angles some gold. I like it alot, just dont want to have to think about repainting it!

It doesn't really "show" the color changing aspects, although it is cool looking.
