This is my 1993 Mark VIII. I'm not sure of the official color but I call it Dark Charcoal Metallic w/ light grey interior. It has about 252,500 miles on it and still runs pretty well considering. Here are the upgrades and repairs so far... rebuilt tranny at about 216,000 miles, both front corner lights, both headlights, grill, 4 air springs, almost a complete suspension and steering, 2 brake calipers, 4 rotors and pads, belt tensioner and pulley, belt, plugs, wires, alternator, battery, air conditioner compressor, head gasket, MLPS, antenna mast, trunk lock cover, 98 climate control unit, traction assist switch, rear reading lights, rosewood dash kit, replaced sections of leather seats, tinted windows, Cobra alarm w/remote start, 17" Sendel S-15 chrome rims($100 a piece), 2-1/2" stainless cat-back exhaust with Flowmaster 40 series mufflers and 2-1/2" bevelled stainless tips, Clarion deck w/ Sirrius satellite and Clarion 4-channel amp. Last week I removed the air silencer and resonator and drilled the air box. Much more to come I hope with the continued help from this club.

yeah diff some decent miles put on her. but she looks good all things considered. sounds like you have spent some money and time into it. great job keep it alive!!

Lot of money and time is right, a lot more to come too, but for an initial cost of $2900 in 2004, I would have spent a lot more with new car payments.

Beautiful Mark VIII!

I believe that color is Midnight Opal. It was a 93 only color, sort of like metallic black.

Darrell's convertible 93 is that color (see the Michigan meet photos to see it). It's a beautiful color.

WOW! That convertable sure is sharp. Those white walls with the yellow stripe tires give it that extra something. You usually see those on Cadilacs. Very nice!
