My '95 has the stealthy stance of a 4x4 when parked!

Hey guys, just bought a '95 Mark VIII and it seems to have a problem with the air bag suspension. At least I think its a problem. When parked it sits really high, I've seen pictures of the members rides and they sit a lot lower parked. I know that many have probably done the coil spring conversion so I'm asking is it normal for the car to sit this high (maybe 3-4" distance between the fender and the tire all around). Thanks.

Mine is only doing it in the front. Back raises and lowers normally. Front is always raised about 4". I've done some research, but have not found a good answer. Why both front if they are independently drained?

According to the 94 service manual, the ride height should be measured from the bottom edge of the wheel to the wheel well lip.

The front should be 24-1/2 inches, +/- 1/4 inch.
The rear should be 24-1/4 inches, +/- 1/4 inch.

I think the gen 2's are slightly different in the distances.

The problem could be a sticking vent valve in the compressor, which is a common problem. Also the dryer might be plugged up, not as common.

I have the same problem...my car is always at the same height!!! :(

Wait...I got coil springs! Rofl :p I've always been on coils so when it comes to air suspension posts, I steer away or should I say I understeer away....skkkkiiiirrrt!
