My baby

RE: My baby

Absolutely gorgeous, Sharon ...and the car ain't half bad neither!! hehehehe :p Looks great!!! It's made ME jealous! ;) If you want a super quick engine detailing, Rick (One_Way) from a couple of other boards posted a detailing secret he got from a "real detailer".

It's simple and it works ... I do it before every show:

On a WARM engine, mist down (a plant mister/spray bottle) the motor and bay with plain water, then immediately follow that with a mist of windex or your favorite liquid spray window cleaner (I use Stoner's Invisible Glass) then immediately after that follow it up with a mist of ArmorAll or similar product. (I use Turtle Wax Protectant in the green bottle) Close the hood for about twenty minutes. Follow it up with the same procedure and then let it sit for an hour or so while you wash and wax and detail the interior. After that, just pop the hood and wipe down lightly with a lint free towel and your engine bay will absolutely sparkle! :) Give it a try!

RE: My baby

Thanks for the compliments Jack! Yeah, when I got home the Blazer was in my way, so I wanted to park next to Hubbys car and try to get a few shots in before I moved all the cars around to put my baby in the garage.

RE: My baby

oooh, what an adorable kitten!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he's even talking on the cell phone! I should give you some cat's number i know so they can hook up

RE: My baby

Thanks everyone!

Regarding kitty (Bilbo) - we adopted him last year. Unfortunately, Spotty, the sick one, did have to be put down earlier this year, in spite of everything. ;( We also have Spawn now, who is a terrorist cat, presumably sent here by Osama to wreak havoc one home at a time.

RE: My baby

Wow, Black looks classy even when it dirty. That car is beautiful. A perfect balance of wet look black and chrome. Those rims really set it off. I would be paranoid to park it in public zones for fear of door dings worse than mine. Black shows everything. Is that the factory level of tint on windows? Or did you add a little?

RE: My baby

Thanks Jeff! Not factory tint, I had it put on, but I got a very light tint (with the factory tint and black interior, I think it looks darker sometimes).

I HATE where I work now - the parking lot gets full and the spaces are tiny - I am getting door dings. :B

RE: My baby

Hey Trix,
Could you posibly pass along the info on the software site?
Would be most grteful.

RE: My baby

Thank you, thank you. Unfortunately she's not a show winner, but I still love her.

Jobear, I can't find the link that JP gave, but it's called MHOV Image Resizer. Very easy to use to resize pictures.

RE: My baby

Thanks Craig. Yeah, I'll have to get some more pics of the two of them together. It's just been a bit hectic around here. Unfortunately, now both cars are dirty. :B
