My first day at the track?

It was parked on a slope, but only a very very slight one. And I'm not sure of how many quarts-- I don't have the proper... "facilities" I guess you could say to change the oil myself. I'm guessing it was 6, though. But like I said, that's only a guess.

Alright guys-- the results!

Then there was this... I don't quite know what happened, all I know is that my tires spun for a looooong time before I got traction. haha

And that's that. Overall, it was an awesome day. My first run, I got my ass handed to me by a Trailblazer that was running mid 13s. lol

Good job for your first time out. A stock Trailblazer SS at the track today by me was running 14.5, but they were going to tune it and not sure what it ran after that.

No, I actually didn't. haha
I got out to my car this morning and checked the oil, and it was just fine. Kept checking it throughout the day whenever I parked to let my engine cool off, and it never dropped down. It is a mystery. lol

Oh yeah, I had a freakin' blast. I'm just gonna have to remember next time to go with 3/4-1 tank of gas instead of a half tank. I found out the hard way that the drive there is 1/4 tank, back is 1/4 tank, and gas at the track costs $7 a gallon minimum. hahaha

Now that I've seen what my car can do, I'm in even more of a hurry to start doing stuff to it to make it faster. haha

The first run that I did, I thought that I was going to pass out, my heart was beating so fast. I mean normally, the only "racing" that I do is flooring it to about 55 or 60 when some Civic pulls up next to me at a light and revs his fart-cannon exhaust, but flooring it all the way up to 95-100? What a freakin' rush! haha

OH! Anyone want to hear some stories? Unfortunately, I didn't get any videos of this stuff, but oh well-- From the time that I got there until the time that I left, there were 3... er... "mishaps."

The first one was a Chevy Nova that didn't look like it belonged there anyway. It blew an upper radiator hose and sprayed the track with antifreeze. That took about 20 minutes to clean up.

Next, it was a late 60s Camaro. Beautiful burn out, but I think it had a little too much power than it should've had. Tree flashes green. Camaro floors it and does a wheelie. Here's the odd part: the body kept going, but the rear axle just kinda stayed where it was. Yupp, the Camaro had so much power that it jumped right off the rear axle. haha

And then I saw a car that I reeeaaally wanted to race (unfortunately, I didn't get to). Ya know, luxury car vs. luxury car-- I saw a Mercedes. Then I pulled closer and thought nah, he'd whoop my ass for sure. Unless I'm mistaken, someone had decided to take mommy's brand new AMG S65 to the track. Twin turbo-d V12 engine producing right around 600hp. But is that enough?

No, never.

He just HAD to go and hook nitrous up to it. Light turns green, he and the 5.0 Mustang next to him take off, and I notice the Mustang's pulling ahead? What? How can this be? BANG! Smoke. The Mercedes is braking? Yupp, the Mercedes sure broke alright. He hooked the nitrous up improperly and blew the engine. That's $150,000 down the drain. HAHAHAHA

Did you make sure its not just the O/D light? Did u test overdrive? Is it stuck on or off? or do you know? Mine sometimes is the light bulb itself in the dash - i just tap it and it comes on, damn ive been meaning to change that bulb, lol!
