need computer help, burning dvd

ive never used my dvd burner and i want to, i have a bunch of music video's from youtube i want to save and burn so i can watch them on tv instead of on this. does anyone know how to do this, i tried, and found software to install which tells you hot to, and after doing it all we tried one single video to make sure it was going to work and at 3% progress it failed. i need a simple fast free way, does anyone know how? thanks.
 
I'm currently looking for something better than Nero. It just takes too long. I think the last one took me 2 hours. I've heard some good things about DVD Fab, but in the meantime, Nero should work.
 
I use Nero as well, I think it works great, expecially for what Jamie needs/wants. All you do is click "data dvd" and just select the vids (files) you want to put on the DVD and drag them and drop them. Then you just click "burn dvd". Unless you're completely filling up the DVD it should only take 5 minutes max to complete.

Ryan....yours probably took 2 hours because you were copying a DVD (movie?). Doing a straight copy takes a long time, expecially since most programs copy it to your hard drive first, then burn it to the DVD.
 
i tried downloading the free nero demo and after 50 minutes it only downloaded 4 % so i cancelled it, i give up trying to find a way to do it for free. either i scrap the idea or just pay to do it.
