Need Crate Engine - 62' Continental

Does anyone have any ideas about a crate engine for a retoring 62' continental? I want this to have a lot of power, but I also want it to be clean and without a lot of headaches.

Suggestions? I want a motor to be as compatable as possible.

what ever it came with originally just look for a similar block like a 406 big block i believe, anything the galaxy came with i think will fit.

Depends on what you really want.

On the cheap, easy, get a ford racing crate 351 with a carb @ 347 HP. Go bigger if you prefer(size and cost), a FE big block would be more appropriate looking (427/428/429).

If you want something modern but still look old school with a carb, get a Karkraft 4v 4.6 liter with the conversion intake manifold and a carb.

still the easiest is a similar style block engine but if you want to restore it find out what the vin says it came with
