need help please

i was wondering well i have read about the taillamp and i also have the problem with it not turning on where can i replace it and if it is the ballast does any one have a part number or anyone or any place i can get one... another thing the telescope steering doesent work i push the lever i hear a noice but nothing happens....and last the driver side seat doesent move at all the lumbar button works but thats it any help would be useful thanxs...oh one more thing my right side light burned out so i replaced it it looks beautiful but now the left one looks old and yellow any suggestions on how i can clean it...oh and last but not least there is a junk yard by my house they have a 98 lsc toreador red and a silver 96 mk8 anyone need parts let me know and ill ask thanxs for all the help

Aside from wondering where JD is.. Let me try and break this down a bit. Your tail lamp is a neon tube that operates with a ballast, and it’s very common for them to go out, so unless you can find a working ballast in a junk yard, you have to replace the entire assembly for around $500-$800. Not sure about your telescope steering, its also a common problem with these cars, you would need to elaborate more on your situation. Now your power seat motor seems to be out (check the fuse’s just in case). Look for one at any junk yard, or at www.car-parts.com .
