BTW, Rose imports in Vallejo is selling a 97 base, dark green, w/ 102k for $6k..I only point that out for you to compare with the "number" you said you would ask for your LSC when the time came...

Craig - updated! BTW, judging from other prices I've seen lately, I'm sure mine will go for well under $6K when I finally sell it, (assuming I can find a nice low mileage replacement then...)

Thanks! It may not be as polished as lots of other sites, but that also makes it a lot easier to create and maintain. And since it's mainly about people, (since sites like the main LOD can handle all the "car" issues), it really doesn't matter too much what it looks like. We just wanted to show a more "personal" front, since it's so hard to know people when all you usually see are characters typed on the keyboard...

John, if you are letting your car go for less than $6k, you're nuts. I have seen these $8k cars, and they are not half as nice as yours. But, if you insist, let me know when its time, and I'll find you a buyer real quick! Hell, if you are going to "give" it away like that, just let the dealer take it when you find a low mileage replacement.

We should form a Lincoln Mark 8 Preservationist Society and buy up all the Marks for prosperity.......all those in favor say aye all opposed say nay.....

On a more serious note I am trying to come up with a reason to have another run. I am asking for suggestions from the members then we will pick one or two to be considered. I believe we will be doing a Reno Run when the weather breaks so get you Lincoln Tuned up....

Craig and I will be meeting in the near future(after Brooke is born) To put together some Rules and regulations for the LODNCA which will be voted on by the rank and file members.

I think it'd be nice to have a holiday dinner, (or lunch), sometime around Christmas. (I'll be out of town Dec. 25 through Dec. 30.) No real cruise involved - just food and after-dinner drinks. I'm sure there are dozens of restaurants in SF that would fill the bill - maybe someting listed at www.we8there.com .

Also, I was thinking it might be fun for anyone interested if we got a "website design" meeting together, where we could throw designs into the ring. Or I could bring a laptop computer to the dinner, and we could sit around after food and everyone could provide input that way.

1 vote for "The House" God I love that place... Brenda has never been there, and she loves prime Rib. I can call Joe Bett's and see if he can squeeze in 14 or so people. I am sure that the 20th is a VERY BIG NIGHT for any restaurant in SF, but as long as everyone will eat meat, I would love to go there. If memory serves, Max is a non-meat eater, so if he wants to join us, I advise we choose a place that has something other than meat or fish(the H.O.P.R. has a limited option menu).

If not, maybe we should let the holidays settle. Stan, you have more important things to worry about real soon. I will give you a call one of these days, and you and I can work out details for our get together.

What does everyone else think? Wanna meet BEFORE Christmas, or after the holidays? Money is always tight around the holidays around here, so let me know, ok?
