New headlights

Misanthropy

Information Junkie
Going to order all new headlights including the ones on the sides. Getting them from max at five star.

Just to make sure, don't the side headlights come with the chrome stripping? Also, I think the guy before me has too strong a bulb (a lot of burn marks) Can anyone suggest to me really good bulbs for OEM headlights? Appreciate any feedback.

Oh and I drive a 93

Do a search for HIR(Halogen Infrared Reflecting) bulbs. You'll love them and they burn cooler. They are a little pricey for halogens but well worth it.

Also consider a relay kit to maximize voltage at the lamps. That alone helps tremendously.

New headlamps and sidemarker lamps will make you think you got a new car! Way cool! :D

Yes, the new sidemarker lamps will come with the chrome strip.

Where would I be able to find a relay kit & how hard to install ? Also, where might I find those bulbs you mentioned?

with new headlight housings i would spend another 80 bucks and buy an H.I.D kit for those new headlights. halogen bulbs are just going to burn the insides of your new housings, in 2 years, you'll be buying new housings again, not to mention that h.i.d's are way nicer at night and light up more area then any stock halogen bulb ever will. just my opinion.

I didnt get the CHL box and I do get the check head light message

so it would be worth the $40 or you can clip a wire under you dash to eliminate the message

I just remembered that the polarity on the ballast is switched on these so you have to flip the connector or use the adapater they send
