Hello everyone!

I am new to this board. I live in Livonia, MI and I drive a 1995 Ford Thunderbird LX V8 and a 2011 Ford Fiesta SES. I know this is a Lincoln board, but I can appreciate the V8 power these Lincolns have.

Here are a couple of pics..

This is my summer fun car, a work in progress but its coming along..

  • 3.73 Gears with 6 clutch Trak-Lok
  • Lincoln Mark VIII 93 Driveshaft
  • SCT Tuned (With Xcal3) by Alberto at American Motorsport
  • 1999 Ford Mustang dual piston PBR brakes
  • A million dollars of replacement parts
  • 1990 Ford Thunderbird SC cloth seats
  • 15.0 1/4 mile, down from mid 16's when she started.
  • Custom single exhaust (2.5") with Magnaflow converters and mufflers

This is my new daily driver! I love this little car, gets me to the office everyday.

I have two websites, http://www.fordthunderbird.net and http://www.fordfiesta.cc . Stop by and get the scoop on this and other projects.

See you on the boards!

Greetings! You are absolutely welcome here. That's a very nice looking Bird, and I am quite curious about the Fiesta myself. I hope you like it here.

Thanks for the welcome!

I like the Fiesta, its a fun little car. Its not like the Aspire and Festiva before it, the interior and ride is great! This one is loaded up with SYNC and enough toys to keep me busy for awhile. I get 35MPG on average with my heavy foot.

They don't call it a "FIESTA" for nothing... ;)

Seriously though... It's a really nice car! I've driven the Euro and US versions and I LOVED them. I want a loaded Lime Squeeze SES with a 5spd but I know I wouldn't get good mileage out of it. :D

Thanks for the welcomes!

How come I can't post in the Midwest section? I am trying to get in on the meet at the Downriver Curise. :)

Welcome, nice Bird and I can understand not wanting to get a Mark if you've already spent millions on the bird ;) .

The midwest section can be read by anyone but only dues paying members can post in there. The LOD Meet section can also be used for meets anywhere and everyone can post.

Welcome!

Sorry I missed this, we were at the Lincoln dealership near Pennsylvania road for the cruise.
