RE: New wheels...

Looks like fun :)

I need to get my drag radials mounted back up. I still haven't been to the strip this year. I was going to go saturday, but the forecast was for rain, so i didn't go. 50 and cloudy all day, not a drop. Same sunday. But really i was busy with other stuff all weekend.

Maybe next weekend. Ubly is closed but Milan is still open.

What rules apply for those tires? Are they considered slicks, where you need to have the wheel studs sticking out past the wheel nuts?

They are not considered slicks at the 2 tracks I run at, they are considered "D.O.T." tires, same as drag radials or ET Streets. I have heard of these and ET Streets being considered a slick for some classes at some tracks as well as a D.O.T. tire for street classes at other tracks, so I guess it depends upon the track. FWIW with a set of stock lugnuts, the studs will be protruding.
