I had noticed recently drip spots where I park my car.when I got to my parking place at work was clean no drip spots! every time I would check for a leak all I would find is oil on the crossmember thinking I had'nt gotten the oil filter tight enough I snugged it up and wiped as much as I could off ran the engine it seemed fixed. I put a piece of card board under the front and checked it before starting the car the next morning it was clean. after I started the car and started backing up I saw oil on the cardboard! turns out while cold the plastic gasket between the block and oil filter adapter had a leak! the bolts were very tight after removing the power steering pump, draining the radiator and oil filter it was'nt too bad to change.now for a trip to the car wash to get the oil residue off of the crossmember ect!

You can do it without taking the power steering pump off. Get some universals and some extentions and so it from the drivers side wheel well. It is tight but can be done!

I did my buddies with all 1/4" tools (10mm wobble, extentions, 1/4 ratchet), didn't have to remove the pump. But, its too late, you already got it done, haha.

My 96 did that same thing. Mine got to a point to where it would literally pour about a quart out before it finally stopped.... completely. I could drive it all day after that, park anywhere no drips, but in the morning... get the kitty litter box and put it under that car before you start it... thats after lifting the airride up... :(
