Hoi,

I'm Sjaak from Holland (Europe) an American car lover.
I'am the only one in Holland and i think europe with a Lincoln Mark VIII 1998
Collectors Edition.
I bought it in 2010 in Texas it's in a great condition with 44K miles
the silver ingots included.
the black plastic lincoln star i make ik myself on the milling machine, because they were of (i make a few extra) and the licence plate holder I make it also on the milling machine (drawn myself)
I bought the car for $7000 (€5000) the total cost in Holland was €12000 ($16000)
this was my dream so you have to pay for it as you see.
the top, I like because you never see this here, that 's the reason that i like it
some hate it, I know see it from my side, it's nice
after a few mounts a buy the plastic cover and documents of the Collector's Edition (I'm very happy with it)

That car looks great! I'm not a big fan of those tops, but I think it looks good on your white CE.
 
welcome to LOD. the next closest thing in finland to your mark VIII, is a 56 ford thunderbird that has the entire drivetrain from my old 97 mark VIII in it. the owners name is Trond i dont know where in finland he lives but it was so awesome to send a huge crate over to him, and then get pictures back months later of the car with all my drivetrain in it! enjoy your mark and LOD.
 
i read this wrong you are in holland the thread above yours said finland, oh well, holland, finland its all the same!

It looks like you found yourself one of the nicest examples of the Mark VIII. A Collector's edition, with the extras, from a place not known for rust. I am glad to see it found such a good home. It appears to have some unique pinstriping work done also. I like it!

There are a handful of other Mark VIIIs in Europe that we are aware of. I know we have members in France, Poland, and the aforementioned Finland. There is something about seeing these cars overseas that I just cannot get enough of. Please, keep the photos coming, and welcome to the club!
 
A hello and welcome from me as well. Great to see American cars there in Europe, I really am not interested in the little tiny cars everyone drives over there! I can imagine you get people looking at your Mark!
