it's getting time to switch from my bullits to my stock wheels, I never iked my stock rims so I decided to paint them black and leave the center caps chrome

man what a pita it is sand these rims, they still look kinda crappy upclose with flaking metal but from 5 feet away they look really nice. I'm gonna wait till after winter and get them sandblasted and powdercoated.

I always wanted octostars painted black with the chrome center cap or just run them black with no cap I always thought that would look cool, these turned out how I wanted the black octos to look

I'll have them mounted tomorrow and post the pics when they are on the car i'm still deciding whether to run them with the center cap or without. I have black mark

Sorta looks like a modern version of the old Ford Model T wheels with wooden spokes and moon hub-caps. Thats about as generous an opinion as I would care to share. One good thing about it is that it's going to be a black on black on black kind of ride making it hard to see after dark which would definatly be a plus! But it's your car dude, do what you want.

it would be easier to find 4 center caps off the same rims but silver, instead of painting the chrome ones, that one in the pic looks nice, sell the 4 chrome center caps on ebay and pick up 4 silver ones and paint them black, it would look much better, i have the silver center caps off the silver version of that wheel.

I was going to do that, I have the same wheels sitting in my shed, but they won't hold air. I was hoping I could clean them off and bead seal them, but they are too bad, I broke one down and it was too far gone.....the scrap guy gave me $10 for it anyways.....I have 3 left.
