Passenger Door Ajar dummy light is on

Anyone had to get this fixed or reset? Sometimes turns off when someone is sitting in the passenger seat. Leads me to think it may be a short or a loose connection. What was your cost? Any tips about how I could fix it myself?

Cheap fix...spray WD-40 on door latch....lots of WD-40. Let sit..open/close door a few times. Light should go out. It fixed mine about a year ago. Never came back on. Oh yeah, you might as well spray the driver's door too...that's next.

That is... if the same fix works on the LS. That's the oldest trick in the book on the mark.

It's fairly prevalent in the FLM family.
