Picked up a 97 T_Bird :)

Picked up a 97 T bird from an old lady on friday. This car is to replace the GF's Accord with a failing tranny that I sold last weekend.
I believe this is the most loaded T-Bird I have ever seen. The original owner was a little old lady, who I have nicknamed smokey, since she was smoking in the T-Bird... She sold it so that she can drive her grandkids around in her new Yukon. The T bird came with everything from Original Window sticker of only 23,500 to all documents etc. It has only 52170 miles on it. The underside of the car is amazing, my 03 Jeep looks dirtier. Yet the intirior needed some cleanup due to the fact that the lady was a smoker. Also the paint is not 100% it may look like that on the pics but you be the judge. The car drives AMAZING, brakes are very firm, the steering, and suspension feels NEW. Now I finally know what these cars are supposed to feel like, and I like it. I am certain that I will now look for a 97/98 Mark VIII in the future to add to the "fleet".

Back to the T-Bird.
It comes loaded with
4 wheel independent suspension
Auto Climate Control
Factory In dash Cd
Traction Control
Keyless Entry
Leather
Moonroof
Power Seat
ABS
Spoiler

I spent 4 hours detailing the car today and I wanted to share my results with you guys. I think the interior is looking quite nice now, and the car is shiny. Had some people thinking I just got it new, lol... Not bad for 9 years...

On a side note I already ordered the 1/2 accumulator, and tranny cooler. Will install that next weekend. I also did an oil change with 5w20 Motorcraft Oil, I hope I can use it in the 4.6... Let me know what you guys think of the car, I am thrilled :7 . Btw the engine was really really clean, I have no idea why, perhaps due to the recall on the intake that was replaced in 03... I didn't even touch it.

Wow, sharp car. Nice job on the detail. Hard to find a used car with an engine compartment like that.
I like your driveway too. Do they do those separations for heat stress from cracking in the sun? Looks like your neighbors have regular concrete slabs poured.

I think it was mostly a design preference on the driveway. Most of the cracking out here is due to earthquakes ;) .
