Pics of New 13 Brake Kit

RE: Pics of New 13 Brake Kit

Very nice. Do you notice any difference in stopping power or fade?

RE: Pics of New 13 Brake Kit

The brake kit is from www.discbrakesrus.com They sell for $550 for the front setup.

I haven't driven the car that much since they have been installed, but I do notice a big difference in pedal feel and the ease that the car comes to a stop. I also used dot 3&4 compatible synthetic brake fluid. I'll get a good idea about how the brakes perform after the Carlisle weekend.

Nice, very nice, should stop you on a dime and give change :).

Very nice. Keep us informed on the performance, stopping, warping, dusting, etc.

Saw your car at Carlisle saturday, looks just like it does in the pictures, very nice.

RE: Pics of New 13 Brake Kit

Looks great, please let us know how they perform, and how you like them, as I am interested in the front, and rear kit.

Thanks, -Joe Michael

RE: Pics of New 13 Brake Kit

So far so good. I like them. They definitely have significantly greater stopping power than stock. I'm sure they aren't as good as a $1k Baer or Brembo kit, but they are more than good enough for what I use the car for; daily driver and occasional track use. They havent shown any fade problems and the pedal is firm. The car tracks straight under hard braking also. I also switched to Valvoline high performance brake fluid that is supposed to resist heat better.

I really like your rims, they are sweet. where did you get them and how much did you pay?
