Hi everyone im new to the forum and site. I have a 00 lincoln ls with 100k on it. Im getting my front and rear suspension done at least most of it. And I found all the parts except a tie rod assembly for the rear. Tha shop I went to said that's what I needed and want to charge 300 for it. So I looked on line and can't find any tie rods or tie rod assemblies for my car. Starting to think theydnt exist for the rear. Someone plz help.

Welcome to the club. You might want to also post on lincolnvscadillac.com. There are more LS owners on that site. Many of our members are also members of LVC.

Unless the ls has four wheel steering, there is only tie rods on the front as far as I know.

Check RockAuto.com. We have a discount code for the site and can get a deal. Also, copy the part number and paste it in Amazon. You'll find parts cheaper through Amazon because you don't pay tax or shipping. :)

Are you sure its not "inner" tie rod?
What are the symptoms?

When the shop inspected my suspension they said the bushings in my lower control arm were out that's y my car was making a loud squeaking noise when I go over bumps or when someone sits n the back seat it would make. That noise. They also said I needed 2 sway liinks and 2 tie rod assemblies In the rear. Still tryna figure out what is tiie rod assembly can't find them.

Some cars do have them it seems. Bot the same as your traditional tie rod though. See if this helps

Then call your local ford Lincoln dealer and ask for it and or tue part number. They do exist.

Ok his so I got all my suspension parts today. My car has.been sitting for a month and so half now so end battery was dead. I got a jump and it won't start. I tried spraying starter fluid into the intake and still no start. I went to put gas in it an it won't start. Before I decided to stop driving it a month ago till I got the rods done the car would start with no problem. Please give me some ideas

Unplug an replug in the crank position sensor too. It's right below the A/C pulley.
