Yeah, the log says a lot. You have a few BHOs loaded which probably accounts for the search bar. BHO stands for "Browser helper object" which is basically the way the "search bar" and others load with IE. You can disable BHOs with this little util here:

As a side note, IE will now have built in BHO enabling/disabling capabilities in SP2
