radio lights

A friend of mine has a 2001 LS and says the lights on his radio went out but the radio still works. I'm sure there's some Lincoln-esque reason for this, whats the secret to get it to work? A fuse

a buddy of mine has a Ford Explorer with this problem also. Apparently they were pretty well known for it. He told me that there's a website that explains the fix. A google search lead me here:

Does that look like the radio in question? I'll try to track him down, to see if he has more info.
