Radio now shuts off

The radio now shuts off when I turn the car off, before I open the door. Is this a WD-40 cure or is this a difficult one?

Assuming you have a Gen 2, this does not sound like a door problem. How about the rest of your accessories? I think they are on the same timer.

like art says.. is it just the radio? or do all your accessories turn off after you remove the Key? and you might want to check your fuses, I don’t know if there's a fuse for the timer.

It was all accessories that shut off, but today it is working as it is supposed to. Chalk another one up for the Mark.

Sorry, I did not know that the 96 had the timer. I learn something new all the time.
