Rear Wing Option

being a newer owner of a 98 Mark VIII and having
my own performance shop for a living, I tend to try
to find "hard to get stuff" for various cars etc.
Ive owned a Reatta, Allante and now a few Subaru SVXs
and Im always looking for new parts for the newest
vehicle.
That said, while at work today I took several wings off
our display wall and tried them on my 98.
We have about 25 different wings in stock.
So far after trying about half of them, I found one that
could be usable. The center foot is a little tall, and I
think if we shave it down about an inch, the sides of the
wing will drop down enough to sit on the trunk.
Its not a bad looking wing and think maybe a few people
might like the results.
It wont be for everyone Im sure, but if it pans out and
we can start making it available, and even if it only
makes a few owners happier about their car, then we accomplished
something good ;)

Eww. Sorry, i don't like wings, i think they look like crap on the mark.

Good luck anyway, though.

another angle for anyone interested
I have more pics up closer too. I think with
mild trimming, it would fit actually pretty clean.
Bolt on correctly and have the right angle for the car.
Painted would look much better of course

Closest I can imagine would be a rear spoiler from a '98 Sable or Taurus. It has a curve that seems to accomodate the "continental" hump... Would really like to see one if it exists...

I have put wings on many of my vehicles over the years but the Lincoln's lines don't require a wing.....
Don't do it :B :B
Hoods do look good though on them
