replaced headlights - need to program key code

Well, instead of purchasing a used bulb for my car I purchased the conversion kit from Max. Just installed them into Sharon's car and they look great. Her old ones are going into my car. It also required the control module be replaced. Now I need to reprogram the controller with her key codes for the car to start. Anyone know how? It was not in the instructions.


Be very quiet. She does not know her car will not start.
 
The key programing instructions are in the owners manual....If you don't have the owners manual....go to lincoln's web site. You can download one there.

Keep the original module. The new one is no different, and when I sold these headlights, we asked Ford directly, and they said "they thought it might be needed, but it wasn't". The sets already went into production and packaging.
 
yes like jeremi said you dont have to change the scil module you can leave the old one in with the new headlight conversion. you dont have to reprogram anything, just keep the old scil module in. make a wall clock out of the new one lol!
 
too late. swapped in the new one. Max said it was different. just had to turn the key to "on" position for 60 seconds.
