Replacing the front bags

Well It appears to be time to replace my front bags. I have just under 125k and the front seems to have a slow leak. If I let it sit overnight with the air ride on the front drops, if I turn it off after about 4 days to a week front starts to sit lower.

My question is after reading about doing this job it doesn't look to bad and being that I have done alot of other big jobs on cars I will be doing this myself. Besides the nut on the bottom whatelse should I look out for that may give me trouble and anybody have any tips on making this go smoothly?

RE: Replacing the front bags

When you remove the bottom bolt, turn the steering till it locks, which way I forget. This moves the suspension out of the way when pulling bolt out. With the tires straight ahead, I couldn't remove mine (was just a fraction of an inch shy of clearing). Also, make sure to jack both tires up and hanging free, at the same time. An air impact wrench REALLY helps on that bottom bolt. Be careful installing the selonoids, the slot on the strut for them can bend easily, and can make you take the new strut back out to remedy. There is a brace on the three bolts at top(on mine anyway), don't forget to replace in correct order.
