Safety on the snow / Anti-skid system

Hi,

I am considering purchasing this vehicle and I am wondering how it handles in the snow (I live in Phily). Does anti-skid system (as compared to just traction control) make it as safe in a snowy environment as, say, a front-wheel-drive car would be? Many thanks for any tips.

RE: Safety on the snow / Anti-skid system

Bought the first LS that hit the show room in 1999...would NOT recommend it for a "winter driver"...it does not snow much in MO but when it does you might as well park the LS or be prepared to spin the tires every time you start in snow....only way I can drive it is to start with gear selector in G-2 and manually shift it up...I have always been a "bowtieguy" so I guess this ole Ford suprised me as this is the first Ford I have bought and might be my last....Frank
