Some shots of my mark with different wheels

RE: Some shots of my mark with different wheels

Maybe if they were chrome...

RE: Some shots of my mark with different wheels

I actually think the painted rims give the car a more sporty look. My chrome wheels don't really "fit" on Dave's cougar, they look too nice for his POS. But they did force him to wash his car, and they make it look more elegant and upscale.

We tossed the idea of taking a set of these rims (there's a couple of sets laying around, between all the cougars my friends have) and polishing them. I think that would look sweet, but it would be an ungodly amount of work.

I'd go chrome too, though mine, when cleaned (see sig pic), look pretty good.

My chrome wheels will definitely be back on the car before spring. Right now neither one of us is driving our cars, so it doesn't really matter. I'll have my octastars back on it in the spring with some new tires.

I polished the wheels on my old beretta GTZ. HUGE amounts of time went into them. They came out pretty nice tho. I bead-blasted themm to get all of the paint/powdercoat off. Then I went to town with the DA. I finished with some 1500 grit by hand, rubbing compund, polishing compound, cleaned w/ acetone and clearcoated.
