Stock Mark VIII on 18s

My first and second time ever out to the track I went out on my 18s and ran a 15.6 @ 93. Bone stock 1998 Base Model. I didnt think it was terrible for my first times uout there ever but reaciton time was really bad and 60' was something like 2.3

Now with the novi going on I am looking for Mid 13s on stock converter and 3.07 gears on some used ET streets and Tbird rims. Wish me luck :)

Do you have a beefed tranny, or at least a tranny slush fund? That blower will destroy a stock tranny.

JP, I'm sure you know this but that 96 has a custom burned SCT chip... I believe Max's best time was a 15.0-15.1 at 96mph at Sacramento Raceway.

For a car on 18's, that's not bad! ;)
