stock stereo ?

I have a 97 lincoln continental with a tape deck and 6 disc cd changer and it sounds good, but i don't know if its jbl or not. it doesn't say jbl. My question is what volume you listen to it when you want loud music. I turned it up to 23 and it still sounded good but I don't want to push the speakers too hard. Thanks for ya'lls input
 
If you are worried about hurting your stock stereo by listening to it too loud, I don't think that really applies to a stock stereo. I'm pretty sure you can listen to it as loud as it will go without worrying about blowing a speaker or anything. Although you might have to worry a bit with 10 year old car speakers cracking or tearing.

But I say crank it up as loud as you like and enjoy it while it lasts.

However I'm not a true audiophile so I'd welcome someone else's input too.
 
Thanks for the input. I might just do it. It sounds better than any other stereo I have had. It says I have ten speakers in the lincoln manual. Thaat may be why it sounds so good. Any more info will be great
