I have been told by various friends (some of which are Ford mechanics) to stay away from these cars as they are very problematic. After reading some of the problems posted on this site it seems that its somewhat true.
I know all cars will eventually break down, however, it seems that these cars are very hard to work on and have various issues such as transmissions, blend door actuators, air bags, door ajar problems that are pretty much unavoidable.
I live the look of these cars but from the cars I have been looking at around here (long island, NY) they are in less than desirable condition.
I guess what I'm looking for is to see how many of you have had alot of problems. I am very mechanically inclined (I also own some old muscle cars) but this is not a vehicle I want to spend alot of time working on. I'd like it to be reliable.
Also, there is one specific color that I only have seen once on a 93 Mark VIII and I wanted to find out if anyone knows the specific color name. it was a very light blue ???
thanks guys
