FWIW, I just replaced the tired fan clutch on the '91 LSC with a '93 F150 5.0L HD fan clutch.

Doesn't your fan have one of those big "don't put your hand here" warnings??? Even with the car off. :eek:

I can tell you that before the accident, there ~used~ to be a fan guard in place as seen here:

I have always wondered why on new fan belts there is a warning not to install them while the motor is running.
