Tires for my stock wheels

I have read that 245/50 (or 55)/ 16 tires are a good choice for the stock wheel. Will these work well if I get the SCP 1.5" lowered suspension? Do i need to run all the same tire size or will a 245/55/16 work all around good?

im running 245/50r16's on wheels that are .5" skinnier then stock and they look pretty nice. the 1.5 lowered wont hurt you any i can almost lay frame with mine and they dont rub anything. i dont think i have ever seen any car that can get this low on stock suspension with out cutting the frame. i have seen air bags put on quite a few cars and trucks and most have frame mods or other after market parts like after market lower control arms or spindles to get this low. mine gets low enough that i can take the reflectors off of the road.
