Apparently the 98 PCM reads off a different spark table (MBT) and it has a limit on what the total peak timing can be... for me that limit is 28 degrees at WOT. I'm trying to get around this and have started to work with a Sniper tech to fix this. Is anyone running more timing than this on their gen 2 PCM? I have seen datalogs of two other tuned gen 2's, one with sniper and one with SCT and both peaked at 27-28 degrees of timing. I was running 33-34 degrees of timing on my 95 LSC and the mid range torque gain was impressive.
