So I've been quite for a while. I have been extremely busy. Ive had quite the year so far with the motor blowing in my little DD, so I picked up a new one. Than I had my trans go out in my big Diesel truck. After spending over $3000 on it TWO weeks after getting it back it got TOTALED!

All during this I've had all of this going on with the Lincoln:

Earlier in the year I changed blowers from a V1 to a V2. Shortly after the V2 oil seal blew out. So I sent it in and had it Rebuilt/Upgraded to the Si trim. I got it back and one of my twin fuel pumps went out. So I ordered 2 new ones and decided to upgrade from 60lb injectors to 80lb injectors. Once I got all of that installed i went to change the oil and found some water in the oil! So I ran a compression check and sure enough i was down on two cyl. So I pull it all out and apart and sent it all to the Machine Shop. They call me and tell me my internals are Shot. The water wiped out the bearing and ruined the Crank, Rods and Pistons! Keep in mind this was a FULLY Forged IRON shortblock, I had less than 4000miles on it. Sooo, I built a whole NEW engine. Teskid block, Ross Pistons, Total seal rings, Manley rods w/ ARP 2000, Cobra Crank, ARP everything. I also Had the heads cleaned up and new valve spring installed. Also I changed cams, I now have Ford GT supercar cams. I get all of that together and back into the car and I put 250 miles on it and I loose 2nd Gear in the Trans. So I decided to use my mustangs Trans that has the AODE gear set as opposed to the 4r70w gear set (2.4 1st 1.47 2nd 1 3rd .67 od VS 2.84 1st 1.55 2nd 1 3rd .7 OD) I also used my Mustangs Converter an ART Carr 3000 stall instead of my Edge 4000 stall. Keep in mind that the mustangs trans & converter was spec'd out for a 88mm Turbo DOHC 5.4 3000lb car, so the converter is TIGHT to say the least.

So that's where I'm at today. Im still sorting out small issues. It's too late in the year to get ready in time for a track run. I'm still debating on intercooling it this winter and I think Im going to try to get my 17s on there with M&H 325/45r17.

Oh I also picked up a '93 Lincoln for my girlfriend. I took it from a free car with a ROD KNOCK, To a 13.9 @ 100mph, within TWO weeks. She drove it herself down the track, 1st time she had EVER been on a track! We drove it from KC to south of Oklahoma City to race it at BuickVSFord last weekend, DROVE GREAT. She is going to make a post later with pics and what not. I have more parts to throw at it. I'm going to try to get it into the 12s NA, then maybe throw some giggle juice later. lol
