What is an average 1/8 mile time?

I purchased my Mark and immediately took it to the track to get a base figure before I modded it.

I ran a 9.9 in 82 degree weather.

Then I came home, put a new 1-2 accumulator in, Mercon V, and a 160 degree thermo.

Went to the track and ran consistant 10.2's. What is with that?

Is that a normal time? Man these things are pigs! haha

9.9 to mid 10's is normal for a stock car.

What was the weather like on that 2nd trip?? Was the car hot, or did you get a good cool down? Was your truck full of stuff or a full tank of gas?

During the summer my old '93, when it was stock, ran 10.0 to 10.1's all day. During the winter I ran as fast as 9.6's.
