I just bought a 94 Mark8 with the suspension swap and I would like to run 20" wheels...does anyone know what offset would leave the wheels almost flush to the wheelwells and also what is the tallest and widest tire I can use with such a set-up? I would appreciate all the help.Thanks.

Check this out ;-) http://mark8.org/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=15184 it is a sticky on top of this forum.

Offset directly correlates with wheel width. 8.5" width which is pretty common for a 20" wheel will look good with about 35mm or so. If you get the mustang hubs... you can use mustang/350z wheels which have a HUGE aftermarket.

Those calculators will give equivalent widths in most cases...meaning they are conservative numbers: wheels and tires that will definitely fit. One of them (rims-n-tires) gives larger sizes, but they are still conservative.

My suggestion would be to find a shop/retailer who would be willing to test various sizes on your car in exchange for you purchasing some wheels. People become very helpful when they know you will be giving them money. In some cases, you can get them to gaurantee fitment; if anything becomes damaged because of improper fit, the shop covers all costs.
